Safety

Minimum ages apply as stated.

We will supply any special equipment but stout boots/shoes must be worn for all activities. Note that we are in the country and therefore it is often muddy so please wear old clothes. Spare clothes are also a good idea if you are with us for the day!

Please note that our rules and staff are there for your safety and to make your time with us more enjoyable for everyone.

We have full public liability insurance.

You will be required to sign a disclaimer for all activities after safety briefings and instruction is given.

Karting - safety helmets and goggles will be included in the price and waterproof overalls can be hired at a small charge. Karts have roll cages, 5 point safety harnesses and hand safety harnesses on steering wheel. Safety briefing and driving instruction will be given. Do's and don'ts explained on the day. Marshals are present at all times and must be obeyed.

Paintballing - overalls and full face helmets are provided. Safety briefing will take place before games commence. Guns are inspected daily for maintenance. Please be aware that this is natural terrain and woodland environment so the ground is uneven and there are trip hazards from roots and similar. Marshals are present at all times and must be obeyed.

Pony Trekking - BS standard helmets provided. Wellingtons or stout footwear necessary. No trainers, high heels, open toed shoes or jewellery to be worn. Riding instruction and horse control will be given. Our experienced, trained guides will escort you and must be obeyed. Note that horses are not machines and although ours are chosen for their quiet natures all animals can be unpredictable.

Diggers - although no special clothing is necessary, we suggest that stout boots/wellingtons and old clothes are worn as this is in a field and so can be muddy. The diggers have remote control electronic safety switch off equipment and the joysticks are adapted to ensure that the diggers remain stationary, although full 360 swivel is still maintained. A safety briefing and instruction will be given by our trained person in charge.
